What is it?
Fusion Field is a smooth reverb that sits beautifully in a mix. It's clean, unobtrusive sound has a natural falloff that floats behind, and complements the source material perfectly. Fusion Field is very easy to use, and the main display shows the effects of the dampening and EQ in a plain natural way. The reverberation can be dampened in the upper and lower frequencies, allowing soft sibilance and a graceful, lifting air to the sound.
Having very few controls does not hinder Fusion Field's usefulness. The dial ranges have been sloped to give the best sensitivity in useful regions, and the whole unit can create short snappy rooms, or vast time-suspended spaces, and anything in between.
Why use this?
Removing the character of uneven early reflections and various room shapes leaves the sound pure, so it's able to hold the sound in time. Simply enhancing the sound image without obtrusive additional tones allows for more space in the mix.
While not using traditional all-pass filters, Fusion Field gathers reflections immediately, using unique 'leaky' feedback technology. This has the accuracy of an intensive frequency based algorithm, with the movement and zero latency of time based calculations. It also has relatively low CPU usage for such a high quality sound.
Try the demo yourself and choose the "Fusion Field Full" preset, this gives the longest decay and no filtering.
If you send a short sound through the plug-in you will hear the sound as though frozen in the air, and decay perfectly smoothly in about two minutes.

When creating Toraverb, we did not base it on any current reverb unit available in the market. We did not implement any off-the-shelf algorithm. Toraverb is not a classic type reverb unit like spring, room, hall or plate. Toraverb is a concept algorithm reverb. Using a set of easily accessible parameters, it allows the user to create practically ANY type of reverb.
Our goal was to create a reverb which would sound pleasant to the listener and the output could be tweaked in many different ways by the user.
Critical effect in any studio
Reverb is a critical effect in a mix. Final results depend on the reverb algorithm used and the quality of the implementation. Usually reverb is used as a send effect in which many channels in a mix are routed to it. If a low quality plug-in or hardware unit is used, the end results can sound very disappointing with the reverb tail sounding like it had been ripped-off in the mix.
High quality of diffusion
In Toraverb, we applied diffusing algorithms of the highest possible quality based on modified all-pass filters. By doing this and using properly tuned parameters, we can almost entirely eliminate unwanted flutter echo effects for every sound source.

Yesterday we released Steinberg Cubase v5.1.1.UPDATE. Unfortunately this release contained a major bug on startup in both the StudioManager and also with VST3 plug-ins on some Windows Vista/Seven operating systems.

This issue was not a result of our crack!!!

It's a classic example of the poor betatesting team steinberg has :(

"... bug in a version of the Intel compiler used for creating the plug-in Set ... "

Steinberg silently renewed their existing update and left a message in the cubase forum without promptly informing all customers about the problem and the re-issued update.

If a case could be made for Steinberg to introduce a public beta testing policy this would be a prime example of it's validity, if such a policy were introduced these errors and, most likely many others, would be captured prior to release.

Enjoy this fixed update, use it alongside our eLicenser emulator, to fix these urgent problems.

The Pro-Q Precision EQ combines a clean and accurate sound and a "never-before-seen" feature set that has none of the sacrifices you normally have to make when choosing an EQ.

After months of research and tweaks this reverb, based on the first digital reverb machine (the EMT-250), is now available for purchase. The EMT-250 is known for the very sweet character of its reverb and is used on a lot of famous recordings. It is the favorite reverb for a lot of award winning engineers. Real EMT-250’s are rare and other solutions for obtaining similar results were expensive or unnecessarily complex - until now! With the release of EMpTy 250 this ear candy becomes affordable for each studio and engineer!

EMpTy 250 is not yet another reverb plugin. The character of its sound is unique and sets it apart from other reverb plugins or dedicated hardware reverbs. EMpTy 250 is now available as a VST plugin and is also available as a patch for the Eventide® H8000 and H7500. The plugin can be used in any DAW software supporting Steinberg®'s VST-format, like for example Nuendo, Cubase, Adobe Audition, Reaper, VSThost etc. and does not need any internal DSP card, external box or dongle or special drivers to function. A demo version, which is fully functional and looks identical to the full version, but inserts noise into the output signal every 15 seconds, is available for evaluation of the reverb. Nepheton contains 17 fully synthesized instruments perfectly emulating the famous 808 drum machine. All the nuances and details of the instruments sounds are captured perfectly. The instruments models are equipped with additional controls giving you possibility to tweak the sound much better.
Nepheton has a flexible output configuration. Every instrument's audio signal can be routed to any of the 17 outputs. This allows users to further shape sounds individually or in groups via their favourite plug-ins. Each individual output can be set to mono or stereo. For the greatest 808 fans we've added also original Trigger output (configurable as well). Every instrument also has a Mute, Solo button and Activity led. Mute will not just silence the sound, it will stop the sound being triggered. Solo will stop all other instruments from being triggered and only allow the selected sound(s) to play.
Nepheton has extensive midi control. Midi notes can be used to trigger each individual sound. Alternatively, the internal sequencer can be used. This can be set to play using Nepheton's internal clock or set to synchronize perfectly to the host sequencer. Most of Nepheton's parameters can be automated within the host and also controlled using MidiCC with an external controller. An easy-to-use Midi Learn function allows reassignment of any of the parameters.
Internal Sequencer
Internal sequencer's memory contains two banks of patterns: simple and extended. There is 16 extended and 96 simple patterns which both can be edited traditionally using the step buttons or using the tap function. Simple patterns are used in Host Mode where each pattern location has a midi note number assigned to it. With these notes you can control freely the order of played patterns. Extended pattern differs from the simple one in it has 4 segments (variation A/B and part 1/2). The whole bank of 16 extended patterns is divided into two groups of Basic Patterns and Intro/Fill In Patterns. You can choose freely from played patterns, used variations, and fill in modes (triggered automatically or manually). It also can be defined whether the starting pattern should be preceded by introduction pattern and many many more. Extended patterns are used when Host Mode is off. A Randomizer function is also provided within the internal sequencer. It can be used to make simple changes to a pattern or create a whole new one - ideal when your creativity needs a boost! Randomizing can be applied to specific instruments and the frequency of occurrence can also be adjusted easily to give you just the right amount. All external files are stored in the XML format. This allows single patterns or whole banks to be exchanged between users easily. XML allows the files to be edited in a text editor. Ideal if you want to post or share a pattern on a web site - just post the text!

AudioRealism Bass Line Pro (ABL Pro) is a monophonic/polyphonic semi- modular synthesizer plug-in with an integrated pattern sequencer. While the unique sound of the Bass Line is well known and has become a standard in the music industry, the Semi modular version builds on its strengths and extends on them to reach new sonic possibilities without losing any of its original expression.
In Performance ABL Pro is mainly designed to be used as monophonic sequenced type of instrument. However it can be played polyphonically, or polyphonically sequenced. The instrument comes with a variety of patches: sequenced, polyphonic, monophonic, fx, etc.
CV Routing Most modules send or accept control voltage (CV) which means the signal path can be modified in real time without any glitches in the audio. Sequencer has CV Gate/Note output and can be used when playing ABL Pro in Note mode, monophonic- or polyphonically.
AUX signal processing ABL Pro can process external signals, for example through its filter. The AUX envelope follower outputs CV which allows you to patch up interesting effects. Even limiter and compression type of effects can be achieved.
Excellent VCF The instrument contains an excellent self oscillating filter with tracking and filter modulation from oscillators, and has a 22kHz range (at 44.1kHz sampling rate).
Tight Envelopes The envelopes are extremely snappy and evaluated every sample, no approximations here.

Since 2003 ABL has established its sound as the industry standard. In 2007 ABL2 achieves important improvements in several key areas. Amongst new features the most important thing is the sound: The bass is improved for less muddiness. The filter has been improved to incorporate subtile nonlinear effects for additional squelch. The distortion unit has been improved with less aliasing. The controls have been calibrated to better match the response of the original. Moreover several new features are present: The new pattern analyzer which can be used to edit patterns and will even detect patterns from audio files.
Shuffle ABL2.1 adds support for shuffle, but in standard and triplet timing modes.
Pattern analyzer with Audio detection The pattern analyzer is a tool for editing and analyzing patterns. In further aid to help users transition their original patterns into ABL an audio detection algorithm has been devised. That's right - it can create patterns using audio files as a source. How does it work? The original patterns are recorded under certain conditions, then simply hit Detect from wave and select the audio file. ABL2 will create a pattern resembling the audio input. Listen to the audio detection examples above for an demonstration.
It is possible to copy and paste patterns directly from for example a forum or e-mail using the clipboard functions - no more saving and importing.
Improved filter emulation The filter has been improved so as to include the nonlinear behavior of the original. This give additional 'squelch' in fast sweeps. See the diagram below where one curve (red) represents the original filters frequency response at one instance and the other (blue) ABL2's response.
Accent ducking On the original 303 it will take the envelope a while to 'warm up' after an accent. When the accent knob is fully counter clockwise this can be perceived as a ducking envelope. This feature is now included in ABL2.
Pattern library The pattern library menu allows easy access to your favorite patterns. It also possible to load several patterns in one go by selecting multiple patterns from the Load Pattern dialog.

Audiorealism ADM v1.1.4 AU VSTi Incl.KeyGen OSX UB

Booming bassdrums, saucy cymbals and crispy snares can be used to describe the sound of drum machines from the early 80's. ADM contains three classic vintage drum machines from that era rolled into one, combined with a 32-step internal sequencer and pattern controlled fx (PCF). Get all your patterns into ADM via the Import Rebirth function or directly from your old 909 via sysex (we will provide a free tool for dumping sysex).
ADM contains 25 drum generators, each one carefully modeled after the classics' analog circuits and 4 PCM players, for a total of 34 sounds (some generators have two sounds). Certain sounds have been extended with extra parameters, like the tuning and attack of the 606 bassdrum. The accents effect on bridged-T oscillators that make up the bassdrum and tom-tom sounds has been closely simulated and the hihats and cymbals sound and react very close to the originals.

PCF with sequencer
The PCF can be used to automate any of the drum machines parameters, for instance it's possible to change the cutoff and Q parameters for each step. In fact it can control any of the drum machines parameters, for example you can set the amount of snappy on each step or switch from maracas to handclap on specific steps, giving the illusion of more polyphony (something that had to be done by hand on the original machine). The PCF can also control the amount of mangle (a type of distortion) on specific steps, and if the FX should be applied to a sound or not.

When creating Toraverb, we did not base it on any current reverb unit available in the market. We did not implement any off-the-shelf algorithm. Toraverb is not a classic type reverb unit like spring, room, hall or plate. Toraverb is a concept algorithm reverb. Using a set of easily accessible parameters, it allows the user to create practically ANY type of reverb.
Our goal was to create a reverb which would sound pleasant to the listener and the output could be tweaked in many different ways by the user.
Critical effect in any studio
Reverb is a critical effect in a mix. Final results depend on the reverb algorithm used and the quality of the implementation. Usually reverb is used as a send effect in which many channels in a mix are routed to it. If a low quality plug-in or hardware unit is used, the end results can sound very disappointing with the reverb tail sounding like it had been ripped-off in the mix.
High quality of diffusion
In Toraverb, we applied diffusing algorithms of the highest possible quality based on modified all-pass filters. By doing this and using properly tuned parameters, we can almost entirely eliminate unwanted flutter echo effects for every sound source.

Vocodex is simply one of the best sounding vocoders on the market today.

What is Vocoding? You have heard vocoding many times, even if you don’t know what it is. Vocoders are the classic robot voice from many sci-fi movies. Vocoders analyze the real-time frequency band activity of one sound, the Modulator, to control frequency band activity in another, the Carrier. A vocoder consists of a series of narrow-band frequency gates that allow through only those frequencies from the Carrier that are detected in the Modulator source. So if a human voice is used to vocode a synthesizer chord, it will sound like the synthesizer is talking. Check the demo tracks above.

The Lowender plug-in is a subharmonic synthesizer reminiscent of classic analog dual-band bass enhancer circuits.

More than a simple EQ, the Lowender creates new bass content from your existing audio material. From post-production houses to disco floors, from high-powered live sound to rock, dub, and metal studio productions, the characteristic rumble of the subharmonic synthesizer has been an engineer's best-kept secret for years. Now, finally, you can get those low lows from within your favorite DAW application! While taking the classic ügBoom Boxüh sound as its core, the Lowender expands on the concept in several ways. First, it offers switchable frequency ranges, so that the low end frequencies generated can be selected to fit the program material. Second, the generated subharmonics pass through a gate tailored for low frequencies, which is useful for cleaning up unwanted bass rumble (e.g. from between kick drum hits in a drum loop). Third, the Lowender passes the bass material through an output section comprised of an overdrive circuit and a lowpass filter. Driving or compressing the newly generated low frequencies is essential for evening out their dynamics, and will allow them to sit well in a mix. The variable lowpass filter is provided to shave off the higher harmonics of the overdrive and create a smooth low end - or you can leave some of them in, for raspier bass sounds.

Supported Systems
Lowender runs on Mac OS X 10.4 or higher. It works natively with VST and Audio Unit hosts. On Mac systems, Lowender also runs on Pro Tools (as an RTAS plug-in), although it requires the free Pluggo framework to be installed. Native RTAS versions for Mac and Windows systems are coming soon.
