I try to take the time to listen to links of artists here like Jose...Threedove..these are talented people who deserve to be heard....and music is really what this scene is all about..

Softube are a new software company who came into being after a hacker, a guitar player and a professor collaborated on a research project at the Link ping Institute of Technology in Sweden, aimed at developing a mathematical model that could simulate non-linearities in audio equipment more effectively than existing models. What they discovered is something most engineers already know intuitively: that what the human hearing system perceives doesn’t always relate directly to the numbers measured by the test gear. Some parameters are vitally important to the subjective interpretation of a sound, while others are much less relevant, so Softube seem to have concentrated their efforts on those aspects of distortion that the ear finds important. Along the way they developed a circuit-modelling approach in which every component is individually modelled, that includes an algorithmic method of modelling non-linear devices such as amplifier tubes. They also used Infinite Impulse Response filters (IIRs) to model the resonances of speaker cabinets, microphones and rooms.
The NI-SPEKTRAL DELAY differs from the many other audio effects in that it uses real-time FFT (Fast Fourier Transformation) to split up each channel of a stereo signal in up to 160 separately modifiable frequency bands (even up to 1024 bands internally). The level, delay time and feedback amount for each of this bands can be set separately. Additionally, various modulation effects can be applied to the signal in the frequency domain, which allows for even further sound manipulation.
The NI-SPEKTRAL DELAY offers exceptionally great possibilities for creative sound design - from subtle corrections and rich effects to the total alienation of the input signal. Never the less, the NI-SPEKTRAL DELAY is easy to use since all parameters are controlled intuitively and comfortably from a sophisticated graphical user interface. The NI-SPEKTRAL DELAY runs either stand-alone or as a plug-in. It offers professional sound quality and can be fully controlled by MIDI.
Creativity and Comfort
Edit Graphs which are intuitive to use and packed with comfortable edit functions are used to set up the delay times and feedback levels for the bands: each of the up to 160 bands per side can be delayed separately and fed back to the delay input with an individual amount. The delay times can be set freely or according to the rhythm via a selectable note grid. The maximum delay time is 12 seconds. The effects achievable with this band delay include rather subtle colorings as well as rhythmic courses of the partial tones and dense, atmospheric sound textures.
The modulation effects of the NI-SPEKTRAL DELAY which are expandable by plug-ins are applied in the frequency domain of the audio signal and offer many unusual processing options - such as rotation of the frequency bands or reverb simulation by 'smearing' the amplitude courses of the bands. The modulation effects make a big contribution to the unique sound possibilities of the NI-SPEKTRAL DELAY.
The amplitudes of the bands are also controlled intuitively by drawing in an Edith Graph with the mouse. In opposite to those of conventional filters, the filter curves resulting from this can have any shape and therefor make possible even very extreme filter settings and sweeps. It is for example possible to completely filter all frequencies while some very narrow frequency bands are still audible. The filter curves can be drawn commonly or separately for the two channels of a stereo signal.

Separate feedback delays for up to 160 bands per stereo side, unique modulation effects and freely drawable filter curves make the NI-SPEKTRAL DELAY an exceptional flexible, powerful and creative effects tool. All parameters such as filter, delay and feedback settings can be modulated with an integrated LFO or via MIDI. This makes it possible to create very organic and lively effects which can easily be played live.

Devastor (mac only)
D16 proudly presents our first Fx Plugin from our "Silver Collection" - Devastor. Devastor is a simple but remarkable Multiband Distortion Unit. It is an enhanced version of the distortion unit from our synth Phoscyon. Being multiband, the sonic mangling capabilities are endless!
Devastor consists of three blocks: dynamic-gain module, diode-clipper distortion and three filter sections. Each of the filters can process the signal before or after the diode-clipper. The filters are not the peaking EQ type which are used in classic multiband distortion They are like those found in analogue synthesizers (low pass, high pass, band pass and band reject)- with adjustable resonance and cutoff. As a result, Devastor has a completely unique sound - just check out the Factory Presets.
Versatile and advanced
Devastor can used to distort and enhance a wide range of sounds - From full-on acid synth sounds to guitar fuzz or analogue amp with combo speaker. It can even be used with drums to make them sound more dirty and dynamic! Devastor isn't just good at creating distorted monster sounds. It can also be used subtlety to improve the timbre and character of more gentle sounds. Reducing the preamp gain, increasing the threshold and selecting a soft-knee for the dynamics will bring out more warmth and detail in a sound without introducing distortion.
When designing Devastor, we applied special antialiasing techniques to the output signal to make sure the signal had no aliasing (aliasing is one of the reasons why digital distortion units sound so cold and un-musical). As a result, Devastor has a warm, musical and very high quality sound.
To hear Devastor, we would like to invite You to listen our audio examples. You'll find many types - from distorted acid lines, through drum'n'bass loops, to electric pianos and organs. Devastor is so good that you may think that the sound has been sent from the computer to an external analogue distortion unit and back into the computer again!

16 Group Fazortan VST v1.0 Fazortan; the controlable space phaser has become another effect to offer as being a part of our 'Silver Collection'. No need to say we didnt cut much corners on quality and that robust, yearned by all - analog feel of the sound. Total control of the Phase shift parameter provides you with adjustability and allows to obtain the desired contour with high precision. Have you ever wondered where does that unique magical breeze so audible in most of Jean Michael Jarre's tunes come from. Suprisingly the backbone here isn't the synth itself but the effect unit coupled with the synthesizer, saying more precisely - analog phaser of which our Fazortan seems to be a fine equivalent. Thanks to the analog modelling technique we were able to implement allpass filters comprising characteristics identical to its analog counterpart based on Operational Transconductance Amplifiers.
Therefore You can think about Fazortan as of the exact copy of a retro phaser taken out from 70's and redone to become a virtual unit. But being the same sounding unit that provides primal functionality and sound of the original is where similarities end and where limitless scope of plugin comes to play. By using both lfos simultaneously youre now able to obtain result that owners of the hardware box could only dream about. Aditionally it is now possible to add consecutive allpass stages as well as regulate the feedback effect. The ammount of stages translates on how many humps and pits residues in the converted sound spectrum while feedback parameter value implies severity of these irregularities. Feedback knob gives you sounds from soft to rapid and drilling. To visually display how it works consider a white noise as an input signal. Moving the feedback knob will start to morph incoming "sea waves" reminiscent noise into "windy" whizz. Aditionally each lfo can be modified by altering its respective phase giving as a result an improved panning of the incoming signal.

We made every effort to make sure Fazortan will fulfill all expectations one could have before buying an analog phaser unit. Especially guitarists and retro keyboard players may appreciate possibility to adjust it so it can emulate the rotary speaker, what along with its rich and lush sound, completes satisfactory every audio chain.
Of course given much more maneuverability it is a fine fx unit to be adapted regardless of genre.

'Electri-Q 1.8.4' is a simple, intuitive, but powerful minimum phase EQ, which makes it very easy to adjust the magnitude of any audio material. Due to its flexibility, it can be used on every track or even as a mastering equalizer. The plugin offers two different algorithms. The algorithm 'Analog' was modelled on a transistor based circuit of a real analog EQ. On the other hand 'Digital' is a pure and neutral digital EQ without any coloration. The "Maximum Phase" mode is like the "Linear Phase" mode, but instead of having a linear phase, it has maximum phase. With this, the whole filter is preringing only. So a techno bass might turn from "boom" into a "whoop". If you now take into acount, that loudspeakers (especially sub-woofers) are minimum-phase, these effects will compensate each other. At least in theory...-

AVG.. Avast... and many other anti vir will pick up your keygens...cracks as trojans... you will find that it is seldom the case.. these are false positives..it is makeing a guess due to simular binary signatures...
Still one can never be to careful..We want you to be safe (because we love you) and as secure as possible ...like Audio Pirate says at the top of the page.. we dont/cant use all this stuff...but most is scaned as I most ofton "test" any links.
So here is some good advise and a gift..
advise ...go get sandboxie...you can test software...or run KG's safely ..if you dont like the software..delete the sandbox..its like it was never there.. http://www.sandboxie.com/
even this can give false positives..but its a much better second opinion
